A Flock of Stingray


We were recently on assignment in the Bazaruto Archipelago Marine Reserve in Mozambique when we came across this unique sighting of a flock of Stingray "flying" in close formation through the ocean shallows.

It was absolutely incredible to watch these gentle giants gliding effortlessly through the water.

I have included some images of the archipelago just to put into perspective the phenominal beauty of the habitat of these graceful creatures
